The Joffrey Ballet from its inception was born to be a world-class dance institution. Its visionaries set out to create the truly American dance company. Chicago is now its permanent home, and the company wanted to create a marketing campaign that illustrated is identity with all audiences, develop a wider, diverse audience base, and show Chicago that it is proud of being a Chicago insitution. These Flash advertisements were created as part of that initiative, which was so successful that the company based its entire 2007-2008 season marketing on this strategy.
